As you know every child learns differently and at their own pace. You know your child better than anyone. By having your swimmers view videos, pictures, and read literature about the finer points of stroke mechanics, you will be opening another door for your child to learn, explore, and “VISUALIZE” the sport of swimming. By providing these tools, you will be enriching the lessons that are being taught at our practices.
At PSC our main concern is for the swimmers to think about their strokes and races and not simply swim. We take pride in having thinkers and not just swimmers. A few references that I have found helpful in achieving our goal of intelligent swimming are found to the left. Of course, I encourage all families to monitor their child’s use of the internet. If you find any references or web sites that you think are beneficial, or not working please drop me a note or e-mail.
